Police: Prisoner escapes from 60th Precinct in Coney Island

Police say a prisoner escaped from the 60th Precinct in Coney Island.

They tell News 12 they were questioning Isiah McGill about a prior robbery when the 36-year-old fled out of a second-story window.

McGill was last seen running northbound on West 12th Street wearing red sweatpants and a red sweatshirt with white stripes, lettering on the back spelling "GOAT" and the No. 23 in black.

People who live in the area say police officers were canvassing buildings at Luna Park Housing Corporation, which is located between West Eighth Street and West 12 Street.

Video also shows helicopters overhead.

News 12 is told the investigation is ongoing.
