Bensonhurst resident: Woman used front lawn as a toilet

BENSONHURST -

A Bensonhurst resident says she captured video proof of a woman using her front lawn as a toilet.

"I have a camera in my kitchen and I noticed some woman coming over on my property, pulling her pants down and urinating," says Phyllis Divirgilio.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in front of her 73rd Street home.

Divirgilio's surveillance cameras are on at all times, and there's even a posted sign on her gate. She says she's seen the lawn sprinkler before, collecting cans in the neighborhood.

Divirgilio didn't plan on notifying authorities. But she says she has a bucket of hot water ready for anyone else who tries to defile her lawn.
