Prosecutors: Man fired 2 rounds into Farmingdale gentlemen’s club

A North Amityville man fired two rounds into a Farmingdale gentlemen’s club early Saturday morning, according to prosecutors.
The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. at the Mirage Gentlemen's Lounge on Route 109. When officers arrived, police say they witnessed 25-year-old Greg Goodley remove from his waistband what was later determined to be a gun. Police say he raised the weapon and fired it toward the establishment.
Officers demanded that Goodley place his weapon on the ground, and police say he complied. He was then taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.
Family members say Goodley was off his medication at the time. His attorney says the suspect has no criminal record.
Goodley was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm and reckless endangerment. Bail was set at $120,000. He's due back in court later this week.
The officer who stopped Goodley was Matias Ferreira, a Marine veteran who lost both of his legs while serving in Afghanistan. He's the police department's first double-amputee.
