Posted: Updated:A gym in Gowanus is making sure they work out every muscle in just minutes.
HIIT Box in Gowanus is a high intensity interval training studio that focuses on getting a total body workout. It is also News 12’s Fitness Face-off winner.
HIIT Box classes focus on various moves targeted to strengthen and tone muscles in 20-60 seconds.
"You get to work on speed, agility and strength and cardio and core and we run, pull, jump…we get a little crazy in here,” says HIIT Box owner Maryam Zadeh.
Zadeh tells News 12 that all fitness levels are welcome.
In just 30 minutes, HIIT Box promises students burn of around 400 calories without overexerting themselves.
"We make it fun, try to make it inviting, but really you're doing simple things. Pulling, pushing, slamming, rowing, lifting. No magic tricks, just good hard work,” says Zadeh.
