BED-STUY -

Police are on the hunt for the driver of a stolen car who led them on a chase Tuesday afternoon that ended with a crash.

The pursuit began within the 72nd Precinct, where police say the vehicle in question was observed driving at a high rate of speed.

The car later was in the 76th Precinct, where it hit at least five parked cars on Henry Street in Cobble Hill. Police say two people inside jumped out and fled on foot, but they quickly corralled the passenger.

New video obtained by News 12 shows the car thundering down the block as it smashes into the vehicles.

Authorities say they know who they are looking for in terms of the suspect they did not catch.

No one was hurt in the pursuit.
