Crews battle 2-alarm house fire in Wakefield

A house fire broke out Saturday afternoon in the Wakefield section of the Bronx while no one was inside the residence.      
The two-alarm fire started in the basement of a private house on Wilder Avenue and traveled up to the second floor. No one was in the house when the fire started and there were no injuries.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire. As of Saturday evening, there was no word on what caused the fire.
