State senator and advocacy group ride 4 train, talk to riders about congestion pricing

State Sen. Gustavo Rivera and advocacy group Riders Alliance talked with subway riders on the 4 train at Fordham Road on Saturday.
In an effort to encourage subway riders to support a congestion pricing plan that would involve charging drivers for entering Manhattan, Rivera told his constituents that the proposed fee would provide money to the MTA for necessary repairs.
Some agree, but others say this fee would hurt people who need to drive.
Several subway riders told News 12 they do not believe the MTA would use the added revenue effectively.
