A poster of a Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was vandalized with hate speech and symbols at the Nassau Avenue station on the G line.
A commuter who preferred to remain anonymous tweeted out the photo of graffiti, alerting the MTA of a swastika and other hate speech found on the poster.
The MTA alerted police and removed the vandalism after police collected evidence.
A spokesperson for the MTA responded to the incident, saying, "We have zero tolerance for hate and violence and this is a horrendous example that has no place anywhere ... We're cooperating with the NYPD and other authorities -- including sharing any available surveillance video -- to assist them with their investigation."
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force and the city's Transit Police are investigating.
