Runners made their way to Prospect Park early Sunday for the start of the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.

This marks the first time the half marathon is going through Prospect Park and just the second year the race began in Brooklyn.

Around 25,000 runners were in the borough for the 13.1-mile trek.

This is the 14th running of the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.
