The state attorney general is now involved after a man from Fair Lawn died after being involved in a fight with two other men on St. Patrick's Day.
The fight happened Sunday around 2:45 a.m. at Duffy's Tavern on River Street in Paterson.
According to authorities, Steven Sherlock, 25, was hurt after a large fight outside the bar.
Attorney General Gurbir Grewal says Sherlock got involved in a fight between a man and his girlfriend.
All went to the hospital with injuries that appeared non-life threatening, but Sherlock later died at the hospital.
A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
