Police: Teen shot in head in Mott Haven

Police say they're searching for two suspects wanted in connection to a shooting that left a teenager in critical condition in Mott Haven.
They say the incident happened Thursday evening close to 6:30 p.m. on East 143rd Street in the back of the Patterson Houses.
Police say the two men approached the 16-year-old boy and showed their guns. The suspects then fired at least one round, striking the victim in the head.
They say the suspects are believed to be in their 20s and were last seen wearing dark clothing.
Officials say the victim was rushed to the hospital by EMS and is listed in critical but stable condition.
A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in front of the same building in May.
