Search underway for driver who injured teen in hit-and-run

Police are looking for the driver who struck and injured a 14-year-old girl in Borough Park last month and then left the scene.
It happened around 5 p.m. back on March 27.
Surveillance video of the incident shows the driver of a black Dodge Challenger driving down 47th Street and hitting the teenager, who was crossing the street between 47th Street and Ninth Avenue.
In the video, the female driver appears to get out of her car and check on the victim, but then flees while a witness was calling 911.
The victim was transported to Maimonides Hospital with bruising to her torso and legs. She is expected to be OK.
The woman driving the car is believed to be in her mid-30s. She was last seen driving the same Dodge Challenger with Georgia license plates.
