Police say a 44-year-old man was shot in the chest Sunday morning in Brownsville.

Police: Man shot in the chest in Brownsville
Police say a 44-year-old man was shot in the chest Sunday morning in Brownsville.
It happened as the victim sat inside his car near East 95th Street and East New York Avenue shortly before 10 a.m.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital. He is expected to survive.
Police have not released any details on a possible suspect in the case.
