CONEY ISLAND -

A springtime tradition was held at Luna Park this weekend.

The annual Egg Cream Christening of the Cyclone happened Sunday.

The legendary coaster turns 92 this year.

To celebrate the anniversary, Luna Park let the first 92 guests ride for free.

The park says there has been ongoing track restoration of the world-famous roller coaster and it's actually 10 seconds faster than years past. With speeds as high as 60 mph, the New York City landmark is ready for everyone this season.

The blessing of Deno's Wonder Wheel also took place as it celebrates its 99th anniversary. The first 99 guests also got to ride for free.
