President Trump sends letter to LI girl who picked him for class hero project

President Donald Trump sent a letter to a Sachem Central School District student who picked him for a class hero project.
"He said that he was honored that I picked him as my hero," says 11-year-old Bella Moscato, of Lake Ronkonkoma.
Bella, a sixth-grader, says her teacher didn't allow her to use Trump as her hero, claiming he spreads negativity about women.
The school district said that was inaccurate, but Bella's parents took officials to task for calling their daughter a liar, saying she was the victim of intimidation and censorship.
President Trump heard about the incident and sent Bella a signed letter, school supplies and a White House activity book. Bella says it made her happy to be recognized by him. She plans to frame the letter and put it up in her room.
In the end, Bella was allowed to use the president as her subject.
Bella is currently on spring break and hopes to get her project grade when she returns to school next week.
