Fans pack Williamsburg theater for record-breaking opening of ‘Endgame’

Hundreds of fans were in line at Williamsburg Cinemas early Friday morning and throughout the day for the opening of the latest “Avengers” movie.

Hundreds of fans were in line at Williamsburg Cinemas early Friday morning and throughout the day for the opening of the latest “Avengers” movie.
“Avengers: Endgame” is now playing in theaters. The 22 film in the Marvel Studios saga is expected to have a record-breaking opening weekend.

Fans say they have been patiently waiting for this latest installment since “Avengers: Infinity War.” The film left fans shocked when more than a dozen superheroes were killed.
Now, fans are hoping “Endgame” has a happier ending.

Most of the showings at Williamsburg Cinemas Friday were sold out.
Fans waiting in line told News 12 they think the film will be the best Marvel film yet.
