Police: 51-year-old woman assaulted on 3 train

Police say they're looking for the suspect who assaulted a 51-year-old woman on a 3 train.

The incident happened on March 13 around 9:30 p.m. Police say a man got into an argument with the woman inside the Sutter Avenue/Rutland Road train station in Brownsville.

They say after both boarded the train, the man went up to the woman and began to choke her.

The woman was able to push him off of her and police say the man fled at the Franklin Avenue station.

The victim did not report any injuries.
