Police: Bensonhurst synagogue burglarized during Passover; suspect steals $2,000

Police are investigating after a synagogue in Bensonhurst was burglarized.
Investigators say Yeshiva Ohel Torah Synagogue on 17th Avenue was burglarized Wednesday around 8 p.m., during the Passover holiday.
A man was seen, in surveillance images, breaking into the synagogue through a side window. They say the man stole $2,000 before taking off.
He's described as being around 5 feet 7 inches and about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a T-shirt, jeans and blue sneakers.
No one was inside the synagogue during the time of the burglary. No one was hurt during the incident.
