Police: 5 suspects wanted in Prospect Park robbery spree

Police are looking for five suspects who went on a robbery spree around Prospect Park, stealing money and other valuables from victims.

The say the five men stole about $5,000 worth of items in three separate incidents. Police say the group approached three teen boys in different occasions, demanding the victims' items before running off.

In one one instance, police say the group punched a 13-year-old in the face and took his iPhone 7.

In the latest robbery, police say the group approached a 17-year-old and also punched him in the face, taking his iPhone 8, a MacBook Pro and a bluetooth speaker.

The incidents took place between April 27 and May 2.

Police have released of one person who is believed to be one of the five suspects.
