Piano Man turns 70, celebrates with MSG show

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK - Long Island's Piano Man turned 70 years old May 9.

Hicksville native Billy Joel celebrated the big day performing another concert in his record residency at Madison Square Garden.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has been playing sold out shows there for five years.

Joel told Newsday that 70 is a "little daunting," but he has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

He still rides his motorcycle, does beach cleanups and chases around his two youngest daughters, 3-year-old Della Rose and 1-year-old Remy Anne.

Check out some photos from the show below!
