Emergency crews were in Sunset Park to help a construction worker who fell into a hole Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials say it happened in the intersection of 8th Avenue and 61st Street.

Police say the victim is a 49-year-old man that was working at the construction site when he fell into a two-foot hole.

He was taken to a nearby hospital with bruises in his rib area and is expected to recover.
