Hundreds of runners hit the pavement Sunday for the Mother's Day Half Marathon in Prospect Park.
Organizers say the rain is making this year's weather the worst since the run started five years ago.
Hosted by Citytri Runs, the 13.1-mile course consisted of four laps around the park.
Four-hundred people were registered, but organizers say because of the weather, only 230 turned up.
Citytri Runs hosts several half marathons throughout New York City. The next one is scheduled for June 3 on Coney Island.
