Police: Final murder suspect arrested in 2017 death of 66-year-old Bath Beach man

After two years, police say they have arrested the final murder suspect in the death of 66-year-old Robert D’Onofrio, of Bath Beach.

After two years, police say they have arrested the final murder suspect in the death of 66-year-old Robert D’Onofrio, of Bath Beach.
According to police, 29-year-old Tanaja Grant, of Orlando, Florida, is now facing murder, robbery, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon charges for the 2017 fatal shooting of a 66-year-old man inside his home on Bay Eighth Street.
Grant joins 27-year-old Derek Simpkins, of Brooklyn, and 27-year-old Abasie Brabam, of Georgia, who are also facing charges.
Police say the victim was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to his chest inside his home on Feb. 8, 2017. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
