One Italian grandma is bringing her heritage from Sicily to the Bronx and has become a social media sensation.

Michael Carollo posts videos of his nonna Zia Michelina on Instagram account @zia_micheina. The duo posts Italian-family-related comedy, which has become popular in the Bronx and beyond.

"She started singing and going with it," says Carollo. "I started recording her and put it on Facebook and by the next day we already had almost a million views."

Friends, family and fans say the family's posts show what it is like growing up in a traditional Italian household.

Although Michelina is still working on her English, fans say it is easy to understand the love she has to give.
