An East Flatbush woman is proving anything is possible, despite expectations that she would live to be just a few days old.
Nekhidia Harris, who lives with brittle bone disease, is 24 years old and just under 3 feet tall. But her condition does not stop her from achieving her goals.
Harris recently earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Medgar Evers College and is set to start a master's program at York College in the fall. She and her sister have also started a foundation to help people in need in Jamaica, her parents' home country.
