Police: Man follows woman into Crown Heights building, sexually assaults her

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man they say sexually assaulted a woman after following her up to her apartment in Crown Heights.

Police say the man followed the 22-year-old victim into her building near Saint John's Place and Albany Avenue Sunday.

News 12 is told it happened around 6:30 p.m.

Police say the man followed the victim up to her floor and grabbed her rear end twice before running away.

News 12 is told the woman was not physically hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
