BROOKLYN -

The intersection between Gates Avenue and Fulton Street in Clinton Hill will be now known as Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace Way after the late rapper.

Friends and family of the late rapper, along with members of the community, attended the event to celebrate the life of Biggie and the legacy he left behind.

Voletta Wallace, mother of Biggie Smalls says, "I can come down here, everybody's going to come and say where does Biggie live. Oh, it's this street, the street is up there. Look at it, you'll see it. So, I feel really good about it."

The Notorious B.I.G. is the first rapper to have a street in Brooklyn named after him.
