The Brooklyn Public Library is moving their newspaper archive to the web.
Some of the papers that will be able to be accessed online are the Brooklyn Citizen, Kings County Chronicle and the Flatbush Times.
The library says it worked with newspapers.com to gain access to about 40 different papers dating back to 1835.
For now, the library says accessing the papers requires a visit to one of the branches to use its computers or by accessing the library's WIFI on your own device. All papers will be digitized in the next eight weeks.
The archives will be available through the library for the next three years.
