NYPD: Man steals photography equipment from car on Utica Avenue

Police say a man stole photography equipment from a car on Utica Avenue Monday.

They say the incident happened at 7 a.m. Police say a man was seen pulling up in a red Dodge minivan and taking a tripod and a lighting and microphone kit owned by New York 1.

They say the man took the equipment and drove down St. Marks Avenue heading east.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
