4 officers honored for work in their neighborhoods and preventing hate
Four officers were honored today for their outstanding work in the field.
The four officers, all part of the NYPD’s Brooklyn Borough North squad, were given “Cop of the Month” plaques highlighting the men’s accomplishments.
Two officers were specifically noticed for their work in identifying a man who spread anti-Semitic images across the area.
SRG Travis Mussaw and Officer Rodney Wikira spent hours looking to see who was posting Nazi imagery on the streets.
They found a suspect attempting to post more swastika stickers, and took the man into custody.
