Thousands of immigrants are bracing for ICE raids that were expected to hit 10 cities across the country, including New York.
President Donald Trump tweeted out Saturday that those raids will be delayed two weeks, but officials are still telling immigrants to know their rights.
"In New York state, we have such an incredible network of agencies working together to service immigrants and to protect our immigrant heritage that it's important for people to know that they can access help," said Raluca Oncioiu, spokesperson for the New York Department of State.
State officials are also advising immigrants to reach out to the Office for New Americans for advice on handling deportations.
