Police: Man broke into home, stole woman’s bathing suit and bra while residents slept

Police say a man from Neptune has been accused of breaking into a home in the middle of the night and stealing a woman's bathing suit and a bra – while the residents slept.

Police say a man from Neptune has been accused of breaking into a home in the middle of the night and stealing a woman's bathing suit and a bra – while the residents slept.
The incident happened back on June 15 around 3:30 a.m. at the home in the 700 block of Wayside Road.
According to police, Wayde Delhagen, 25, of Neptune, broke into the home while the two residents slept.
Police say when the alarm system activated, the victims locked themselves inside a bedroom and called 911.
Officers spotted Delhagen in the area and detained him. He was in possession of women's clothing.
During the detention, the victim identified the clothing as hers.
Delhagen has been charged with residential burglary, criminal mischief, and theft.
Police say before the theft, Delhagen harassed one of the victims on social media – so he was also charged with stalking and cyberbullying.
