WILLIAMSBURG -

A serial sex offender with more than 150 prior arrests is once again in custody after police say he struck again Wednesday on a Brooklyn Manhattan-bound subway.

Police arrested Gian Verdelli Wednesday morning with a slew of charges.

Police say that while riding the L train to Manhattan, Verdelli sexually abused a 37-year-old off duty NYPD traffic agent, placing his hand under her clothing and rubbing her inappropriately.

The NYPD told News 12 that the victim was able to capture a photo of the suspect as the two exited the train in Manhattan.

In New York City alone, Verdelli has 30 to 50 prior arrests. Even more arrests were in New Jersey, according to transit authorities.
