Actress Vivica A. Fox sat down with News 12 to talk about her career and explain why she was drawn to the Justice for Junior case.
The star has spoken out about the murder of Bronx teen Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, who was butchered by a gang.

“I thought about - my God - babies, especially my godson, Christian, that if he happened to go out one night and never came home, and then you saw why he never came home, it would just hurt me so much,” she said.
The award-winning actress said she cried tears of joy when the first five defendants were convicted of murder. She now wants to discourage young people from turning to the streets.
“It’s OK to say no. If something doesn't feel right, if something isn't right, first of all, say no to it. Learn to be a leader not a follower,” she said.

Fox shared her secrets to sustaining success in show business in her book, “Everyday I’m Hustling." She was in New York City promoting the "Wrong" film franchise, which will air Fridays on Lifetime at 8 p.m. She is also anxiously awaiting the release of two movies she's starring in, “Arkansas” and “Bailey and Darla.”
