Police: 88-year-old woman robbed in Midwood

MIDWOOD -

Police say they need the public's help finding a man who robbed an 88-year-old woman in Midwood.

News 12 is told last month, in front of 1116 East 21st St., a man is seen pushing the woman to the ground and ripping her necklace off.

The woman was taken to the hospital for minor pain and bruising as a result of the fall.

News 12 is told the necklace is worth about $900.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
