PARK SLOPE -

A motorcycle and a U-Haul collided Sunday night in Park Slope, according to police.

The crash happened just before 10 p.m. at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street.

Video from CitizenApp shows police, firefighters and EMS at the scene, as well as a motorcycle on the ground.

Investigators tell News 12 it appears the motorcyclist was going very fast along Fourth Avenue when it smashed into the side of a U-Haul van as that driver was making a left hand turn onto Sixth Street from Fourth Avenue.

Police tell News 12 that the 18-year-old young man who was driving the bike was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. The driver of the van remained on scene and was being questioned by investigators.

Police say no charges are expected against the driver of the van and that the investigation remains ongoing.
