Police are searching for a man they say robbed a bodega in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

Police say a man armed with a knife entered 565 Flatbush Ave. on Sunday, July 14 and fled with stolen cash.

They say the suspect put a knife in the workers face and used a T-shirt to try and hide his face. However, he was unsuccessful when attempting to open the register. He made off with $40 from the counter area.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the man or has any information about the incident to call police.
