Police say security officers saw a body in the water from the pier near Red Hook Terminal around 9:45 a.m. Saturday.

News 12 is told first responders found the unconscious 21-year-old man and brought him to the shore. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say there was no apparent trauma but the medical examiner will make the final call.

No arrests have been made.
