The twin babies who died after being left in a hot car were remembered at the Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers Friday.
The twins' father, Juan Rodriguez, said he accidentally left Luna and Phoenix in the hot car while he went to work at the VA hospital in Kingsbridge.
Rodriguez said he thought he dropped them off at day care.
The case has currently been put on hold after the Bronx District Attorney's office announced Thursday there was no grand jury action in the case.
Rodriguez is out on bond and is due back in court on Aug. 27.
Officials say charges could still move forward for an indictment.
A private funeral will be held for the twins on Saturday.
