Family and friends gathered to honor two loved ones at a softball game on Sunday.

The 12th annual Anthony Senisi Memorial Softball Game is in memory of a man who was murdered in 2007.

Police say Senisi was on his way home from picking up milk when he was stabbed to death outside of his home, just days before his 17th wedding anniversary. Authorities believe the attack was a case of mistaken identity.

Every year on the first Sunday of August, friends and family put on the tournament to keep his memory alive.

This year, they also honored Senisi’s best friend Billy Fallon, who passed away a few months ago. Fallon started the annual softball game in memory of his best friend.
A new banner for the game was also displayed this year, adding Fallon’s face to it.

The old banner, signed by friends and family of Senisi, was given to his 24-year-old son.
