WILLIAMSBURG -

A trio is wanted for attacking and attempting to rob three Jewish men in Williamsburg.

Police say the attacks took place around 6:30 a.m. Monday.

Surveillance video shows who police believe are the teens behind the crimes. You can see them walking near one of the incidents.

You can see one of the three suspects walking up to a man and punching him in the face.

The first incident took place at 80 Ross St. when a 73-year-old man was approached by the suspects and was punched in the face.

Police say the suspects went through his pockets, but did not take anything.

The second incident happened at 91 Clymer St. where a 68-year-old man was also punched in the face. Police say the suspects attempted to rob him as well.

The third attack was almost identical to the first two when a 56-year-old man was punched in the face near 6262 Wythe Ave. The suspects also went through his pockets.

The first and third victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital and have since been released. The second victim refused medical attention.

Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted that extra patrols are being added to the area. He also urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

The Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating. If you have any information that can help with this case you can call (800) 577-8477.
