Woman hospitalized after being struck by bicyclist in Gravesend

GRAVESEND -

A pedestrian has been hospitalized after being stuck by a bicyclist Monday.

The collision happened on Van Sicklen Street and 86th Street.

Neighbors tell News 12 they were alerted of the incident when they heard someone screaming.

They say the woman was trying to cross 86th Street and did have the walk signal when she was hit by the cyclist.

The woman was taken to Lutheran Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the FDNY.
