Police: Father of 10 beaten, attacked with rock

Police say a father of 10 was beaten and attacked with a rock Tuesday.
A 63-year-old man was exercising at the park Tuesday morning when someone hurled a rock at him.
Police say the two confronted each other and the violence escalated from there. Police say the attacker managed to throw a brick at the victim's head.
Family members say it left him with a broken nose, two missing teeth and an open wound that needed three staples to close.
Police say even though the victim was wearing a yarmulke, there were no anti-Semitic statements made during the attack. The Hate Crimes Task Force has been notified, but at this point has not been deemed a hate attack.
The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall with long dreadlocks.
The Anti Defamation League announced it is offering a $5,000 reward for information that may lead to an arrest.
