Police say a 13-year-old boy is recovering after getting slashed in the face in Bed-Stuy.
The incident happened on MacDonough Street between Marcy and Tompkins avenues around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.

News 12 is told the victim was slashed in the face with a box cutter and ran around the corner to Leadership Prep Charter School for help.
Officials say he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
News 12 is told the suspect is 11 years old and was taken into custody just a few blocks away on Nostrand Avenue and Fulton Street.

Surveillance shows the moments immediately after, where the 13-year-old is seen running down Marcy Avenue, holding his face.
