Police are looking for three suspects in connection to a robbery pattern throughout Brooklyn, the Bronx and Manhattan.

The last reported incident dates back to July 24 in the Bronx. Police say two unidentified men got into a Lyft vehicle and asked for the driver's phone to change their destination.

After the driver complied, they whipped out a knife and transferred more than $640 from the driver's account. Police say the suspects then got out of the vehicle and ran off.

Police are also searching for another man in a separate incident.

Police say the trio is behind more than 40 incidents in which they order Lyft cars and pull the same stunt.

Anyone with information that can help police in this case is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477.
