Members of Brooklyn's Muslim and Jewish communities came together Sunday to make friends and play some basketball at Floyd Bennett Field.
The event was organized by Kingsway Jewish Center and the Turkish Cultural Center of Brooklyn.
The free basketball clinic at the Aviator Sports and Events Center was run and hosted by NBA star Enes Kanter, a practicing Muslim.
Organizers say the clinic was a way to bridge gaps between the Orthodox Jewish community and the Turkish Muslim community. They say one way for kids to unite and become friends is to play some basketball.
