Police are searching for the group of people who they say attacked and robbed an orthodox Jewish man in Bed-Stuy.

Police are searching for the group of people who they say attacked and robbed an orthodox Jewish man in Bed-Stuy.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, and say the victim was not seriously hurt.

Surveillance video shows the victim, an orthodox Jewish man, walking along Warsoff Place between Park and Flushing avenues when four men came up to him and allegedly yelled at him to give them everything he had.
Police say he threw his cellphone on the ground, and the men started to punch him in the face and arm, grabbed his phone and took off running down the street.
News 12 is told the victim was treated at the scene for pain to his arm and face.

Police say the incident is not being investigated as a bias attack, however they are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
