Police search for 2 more suspects in Washington Heights homicide case

Posted: Updated:
Police continue to make arrests in the murder case of a Brooklyn man  after he was shot and killed while hanging out with friends in Washington Heights.

Investigators say Charles Reynoso was with friends around 5 a.m. on June 8 on West 166th Street when several people tried to rob the group. His family told News 12 he tried to stop it and was shot in the head.

Reynoso's mother says she hasn't touched a thing in his room since he was killed, just a week shy of his 25th birthday. Three months later, the pain still cuts deep.

The NYPD identified a fourth suspect in Reynoso's murder. The family waited outside the 33rd Precinct Thursday night to see the suspect, 24-year-old Abraham Fiorentino.

Police say they are still searching for two more suspects in the homicide.

The tight knit family has been leaning on each other during this difficult time.

“He's always a person of family and there's nobody that can say anything in contrary to Charlie and who he was as a person and how he was with his family as well,” said Reynoso's aunt Elsa Cepeda.
