Police say two cars crashed at the intersection of Clarkson Avenue and East 45th Street Friday morning, causing one of the cars to jump the curb and smash into a fence.
They say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m., and that a white Mazda and black Honda were involved. Neighbors say the impact was loud, and they saw two young women in the white car and think one was a teenager.
Witnesses say the second car was carrying a woman, who was the driver, and a child in the backseat.
First responders say no one was injured.
Neighbors say they feel the traffic along the road is dangerous, and that statistics show there have been dozens of injuries within four blocks of the intersection.
