Police released new video Tuesday of a suspect they believe is connected to the stabbing of a Canarsie pharmacy worker in August.
After nearly two months, police are releasing photos of a suspect. A woman who works next door told News 12 that the 46-year-old man who was attacked has not fully recovered.
The woman says he just recently started working at the pharmacy. The NYPD is also releasing video of the suspect they are looking for.
Authorities say the stabbing happened in the middle of the day on Aug. 12. Police say the suspect went into the store a little before 1 p.m., pulled a knife and demanded money and prescription drugs.
Police say the suspect stabbed the employee several times in the back and on the arm, and walked out empty handed.
According to investigators, the man was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the videos and pictures to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-8477.
